I have bought some organic fair traid fabric to make puddles a patchwork quilt. I love hexagon quilts. Here are a few that I am using for imspiration. Ok you only get that top picture as blogspot photo uploader is being silly. But that was my favotire picture of the lot any way so its not so bad!
Today I came home from Ramsgate visiting Roro, it was so great to see her, we cuddled up together on the sofa last night and watched a documentary about reliquerys. (reliquary, damn it only one letter out!) It was interesting, I didnt know the crown on thornes was in france, If I ever visit france i will make sure to visit it, Also the king at the time that the crown came to france, cut of thornes and sent to veriouse people to say thank you. One was put in to a locket covered in amythist and used as a birthing amulet. I loved this idea and may make a birthing amulet for my next birth. I could use the comIfort.
I miss Roro alot and worry when she talks of seeing Mike soon, I know shes 87 and I know every one dies some time, but she was ment to live forever, shes always been there, I can't imagin her not being here :( . I made sure I gave her two long hugs befor I left and told her that I loved her many times.
On my train back I finnished knitting Puddle's Sling to carry his baby doll around it. I hope he likes it, even if it gets little use I enjoyed knitting it and my knitting had vastly improved. I shall tackle a jumper for him next.
When I arived back Puddles was more interested in the train I arived on than that I was home! We played in the garden when we got home, we played with the sand pit, I was sieving sand on to his arm which he enjoyed. Puddles wanted the skate board but its holding down the plastic bag that is the lid to out compost bin at the moment so he couldnt have it, but we played with his trike instead. There are lots of strwaberys now, I must pick them tomorow for tea.
